My speakers have just begun to buzz. When ever there pluged in there make this major buzzing sound. It never used too. Does this mean i need new ones?? I think i've only had these a year or so!!
 
try the speakers on another device e.g. hi-fi and if there ok there then try reinstalling your sound driver.
 
yeah it sounds to me you have "popped" your speaker... if you listen to music loud or with very large bass lines then youve popped them

creative do a game kit for £100, it features the audigy 1 sound card and a 5.1 speaker setup, damn good for the money your putting in... and its EAX :D :D
