speakers malfunction

Hey, I just got this puter two weeks ago...pretty sure I don't have a virus....suddenly I get on it this morning and the speakers wont work...I went to volume, not muted...they are turned on and plugged in, I even tried rebooting, nothing works...any suggestions? Dell support sucks...I have had nothing but problems trying to get ahold of a Dell rep since I ordered the dang thing
 
MAke sure the Vol. is up on the speakers and that they are plugged in to the
right spot on the back of your Dell.

If so............ Call Dell and get some new one's.
