Speaker in Notification Area

I keep losing the speaker icon for the volume control in the Notification
Area! Sometimes it comes back if I do a restart, but tonight I've done a
restart three times and it still isn't there, plus I can't find a place to
enable it. I have Windows XP Home Edition and I'm using a Soundblaster
Audigy 2 sound card.

Thanks John, that worked, but I don't know how it could've gotten unchecked,
I didn't uncheck it??
