Spanning and downgrading Vista 64 to 32

I have two HDs which are spanned. I'm currently running Vista 64 bit, but
need to downgrade to 32 bit due to some software compatability problems.
(FYI - Microsoft offers a 45 day exchange on Vista 64).

My question is - will the drives just "show up", or do I need to worry about
setting them back up again.

I have an incremental backup, but if it's "iffy", then I'll do a full backup
- but that will eat about a day of my time.

Thank you!

If you install an OS without doing a full backup then you are a fool. It may
sound harsh but it's the truth. An process that makes that many changes to a
system can go wrong.

You don't say how the drives are spanned. Is it hardware or software?

You should ALWAYS have current back-ups of all important data
available.
This is especially true before making any significant changes.

As for the exchange, it is a return for refund.
If you bought retail Vista, you have both 32 and 64 bit so there is no
need to exchange.
If you bought OEM, the return policy does not apply, see the seller
for refunds/exchanges.
