spam & outlook express message rules

hello

I don't quite know where to find a group for outlook express 6
so I hope you won't mind if I ask my question here :
lately the amount of spam I get has been increasing quite dramatically
I used to stop most of the regular ones ( pharmacy cheap software porn
etc) with the rules of outlook express ( words in the message) but
since sp2 (or something else ??) it doesn't semm to work any more.
Even if the rule is labelled properly OExpr never tells me "the rule
was added succesfully" any more and it does really not work.
Could anybody give me a hint as to what I could check to change that ?
or does someone knows of a freeware whith which I could read my mail
without loading it on my computer ?
thank you in advance
regards
ally

Anyway, go to Tools/Message rules/Mail. Check that the rules are there and
they have a 'check' in the boxes left to them.
I would check for spyware/viruses that may have disabled your message rules.

I guess manually adding antispam rules isn't fun. Try a spam blocking
software.
