How can you configure outlook to throw all the spam in
the trash? Is it even possible, or am I stuck going in
and constantly unsubscribing to mail I didn't ask for in
the first place?

Thanks for your help
Richard

Firstly, never ever unsubscribe to spam unless you want more. That's a
surefire way to get your name on more and more lists.

Secondly - I'd get a third-party antispam program; they will often let you
redirect the spam to the deleted items folder, also. I personally like
www.cloudmark.com - many in here have recommended SpamPal - a lot are listed
here:

I agree with the other people. Whenever you unsubscribe to one list,
they sell your name to about 10 others. I use a program called
Message Authority. I set it up and watched it for a few days. Now,
it knows what I want to receive, I haven't had to touch it in a while
and it catches everything. URL - http://www.messageauthority.com
