Dear all,

My email account currently is getting a lot of emails
which sender name is "MS Network system" and those email
contains an attachments which has an exe program there.
And this kind of emails which I rev'd at least 20 times
per day. Does it mean my computer is infected by virus ?

Not all! Just make sure that you have a good up to date
Virus protection software like Norton Anti-Virus that
scans your e-Mail as it comes into your machine! I also
have been receiving a very large number of E-Mails that
contain the most recent Worm infection. Do not open E-
mails that say they are from Microsoft, Microsoft does not
send out updates by E-Mail.....

Best wishes,

Jim

Jim,

Thks for your information. Those virus infected emails
are so annoying, if anyone or Microsoft, pls find a way to
fix that problem right the way.

There is no way to "fix" the problem since this is what the virus in
question does. It sends itelf from the infected computers to any
email-adress it can find on that computer.

You can do something about it though, scan/filter your account before
you download the emails to your computer. There are many free programs
that does this, they work alongside your regular email-application.

I have posted a description about a way to deal with this issue (the
swen-virus in particular) at http://nakawe.sf.net/MMM3
