spacing

I have office 2003. I know this sounds like a stupid
question, but I just can't figure it out. When I click
new to write a new message, the format of the new message
is double spaced. Most of time when I hit enter, I want
it to go to the next line, but I can't do this. I know I
mostly likely caused this by messing with settings, but I
can't figure out how to get the format of new messages to
single spaced. Does anyone know how to fix this. Thanks
in advance for any help.

Select Plain Text as your format instead of HTML.
