Loaded windows 2000 on a pc as a fat 32 file system and
trying to load software and keeps saying not enough disk
space please free 2101343kb in the drive c: or slect
different drive. In my computer there is a 20GB hard
drive and it says 3.91 gb used and 14.6 free. It was a
clean install with the hard drive formatted, and loaded
the cd. Is there any ideas on how to correct?

You can either make a smaller partition to install the "old" software on
, or temporarily fill up the HD with a temporary file so the free space
drops or contact the vendor of hte program for a fix/ patch or updated copy.

How old is this program? Some legacy software would see any amount over 2GB
free as (-2GB) free. I believe it was a FAT32 incompatibility issue. You
could try making a small partition to load your software on if this is the
problem. Then again, if the program is that old, you could probably just
copy the files to a folder and make a shortcut, bypassing the install
process.
