Anyone watching this series on Channel 4? They have a multi-million hoax planned, where 12 people think they are being sent up into space from a Russian launch site...

They are in an old military base in Ipswich and will be sent up in a simulator!

Sounds crazy, and its quite funny to watch... however they won't fall for it, surely? :confused:
 
theres no way you could fall for it, first you wouldn't feel any G-force on 'take off' and second you wouldn't be weightless
 
I watched a few, but thought they were all idiots, the crap that one of the instructor was going on about, He was just telling them rubbish and they fell for it!!

Though i did laugh when the 'spy' nearly droped them in it.... :D
 
that program annoys me. it had such a great concept but johnny vaughn kills everything he does (tv wise), and really it is just a rip off of big brother. They have got the stupidest bunch of country bumpkins ever! They dont know anything! I could have been such a funny program too, if only they werent so obsessed with big brother...


of course thats imo, and im usually wrong.
 
they chose idiots so they would fall for it!

I seriously want to see their faces when they get told that they never got further than Ipswich!
 
The people picked for this really are quite gullable.... no gravity, the "hazelnut cluster", Minsky the space monkey etc...

Did you see the signs that the instructor was holding up? About the astronauts being sick and throwing up etc...? :D

Last night i think it was.....

one of the guys is an actor from an ad featuring "gordon ramsey" the whole thing is a crock of !!! and the laugh will be on the the uk public for buying in to the whole illusion.must admit it has been quite fun so far but could pick so many holes in all they have done!
 
I would definatley like to see an episode of that. Do you think it would be somewhere on the net.

And who exactly are being fooled on this show? Is it the 12 people who think they are on board... or the public who is watching?
 
The people on board, the audiences all know the truth that it's fake.

I personally think it's quite funny. As Postill said, I cant wait to see their faces! Guna be classic.
 
You can see bits of the studio out of the corner of the simulators windows!

Whats the day that they get told????
 
I might have to watch the show as I can't quite get my head around the whole thing to be honest!!

Is it a wind up for the TV or some big drama thing that we often see on TV these days??

Basically

They picked 12 people, trained them, then told them that 4 of them were guna travel into space.

They believe they are CURRENTLY in space (the "launch" was on last nights episode)

However, they are ACTUALLY in a simulator in an abandoned warehouse in Ipswich!

We know the truth, they think they're in space, which they blatantly aren't.

Hope this clears up any confusion? I know a whole host of people confused by this! :D

Its just so BB at the moment... and they even have their own version of BBLB

They should have made it differently... the way its presented is all too samey...
