An inplace upgrade and then installation of Service Pack 4 may fix your dll
mismatch problems. I would recommend backing up your system before
performing this kind of operation.

: Howdy,
:
: I ordered the SP4 CD, so will see how things go in a few days.
:
: Just wondering if you used Add/Remove to run the removal of all
: your Service Packs, and then restarted, and ran only the SP4 (if
: compatible with your pc model and software), if this would do it?
:
: Of course don't have any programs running other than the operating
: system itself at the time, and usually I pull the plug to the
: outside lines, unless the
: SP4 needs it connected? Sometimes it can be hard to know what
: programs might all be running in the background, but it is
: do-able.
