SP4

The windows update for SP4 Express has created a problem
when I down load this item.

When I download it, and restart the computer and go to
Internet Explorer, my browsing speed is diminished from
cable speed to less than dial up connection.

I know the SP4 is the problem, because once I remove SP4,
my computer internet speed is no normal.

What is up with this?

Help?

I have installed SP4 on a variety of computers and not noticed that.
It could have been coincidental, as the internet was very bogged down a few
days ago. If it happens again, I would double check your networking
configuration with ipconfig /all and/or netdiag. It may also help see if
there are any new drivers for your nic at the manfacturer's website. ---
