SP4 Slows Boot

Last week I installed SP4 onto my W2K Pro office laptop.

Since then, when docked and connected to the corporate
network, the computer takes at least 10 minutes to boot
up. Yes....10 minutes.

When undocked, the system boots normally without any
noticeable delay.

None of the other systems on the network have SP4
installed.

Can someone help explain.

Paul,
Just wanted to share - my laptop lost it's sound immediately after SP4 and
is also very sluggish now with some intermittent freezing for 30 to 60
seconds at a time. I may end up doing a clean install since I didn't
archive the files from SP3.

I'm having trouble installing SP4 on my laptop. Keep getting error "the
file c:\arcsetup.exe is open".
