SP4 screwed up IE

After I installed SP4 on my Win2000, many websites are not
loaded properly. My visual studio now always finds bugs
with pages with script. For instance my Hotmail page is
all screwed up and doesn't come up properly. All the
buttons and images of that page are misplaced. I didn't
change anything else on this machine. I also didn't choose
to Archive SP3, so I cannot unistall. Is there any remedy
for this? I read there are some issues with hotfixes and I
am wondering if I could reverse some hotfixes to resolve
this!

I think I have the same problem!
The built in Ethernet LAN card works but not when I am using my DLINK
wireless LAN. It completely hangs my IP stack. I am using win2Kpro on
Toshiba Satellite Pro 4600. Once I unplugged my wireless DLINK wireless LAN
card, it works fine. I also have LinkSys USB Wireless LAN card but not a
problem. Search through the Internet but never found anything so far.
Help!!
 
I chose not to archive also. I basically have no
communication through the internet or to my other PC's.
Need a way to uninstall SP4.
 
I've had a similar issue, where I'm getting DNS errors
when attempting to browse the web after installing SP4.

I've had this issue in the past - related to a separate
problem so I was able to resolve it by reinstalling my
winsock2 reg key. You can copy this from a working
windows machine (use the same OS), put in on a disc and
copy onto the non-working machine.
