SP4 problems

After installing SP4, IIS and Exchange no longer work
properly, and Terminal Services fails on login with a
Ordinal 175 error. I am reading about a lot of uninstall
problems on this newsgroup, and can't afford major down
time for a boched uninstall (we are at least able to
connect.....) ....Have there been successful uninstalls?
And what is Microsoft doing to correct this horrendous
screw up?
 
With win2k Pro I have performed several uninstalls without any Problems. I
cannot judge it for the Server 2ks though...
 
Recommend you stand pat with what you have for the time
being. SP4 Install did not go well for me on an Exchange
Server and I am still trying to get it back up.
Uninstall failed with "Uninstall Failure 0x4c7" and I am
still down.

Yes I have experienced this problem. It appeared after I installed
SP4 with a Win2K Terminal Server in Application mode. After applying
SP4 and receiving the ordinal 175 error, use Crtl,Alt, Del to get to
the task manager. Start a new task and enter "explorer" without the
quotes and that will get you to a desktop. You can then remove SP4.
