SP4 Fails - how to tell why? Is there a log file

All of my servers except for one upgraded to SP4 fine. The one that failed
is my PDC. Is there a log file that might tell why it failed? Any help
would be greatly appreaciated!!.. Thanks.

Hi Stacey,

Thank you for the posting. As you indicated your PDC failed to upgrade to
SP4 and you would like to check some log file.

The log file you need to check to find the error is Svcpack.log.

When the service pack is installed it creates the Svcpack.log file in the
%systemroot% folder. This file may be used to troubleshoot problem
installations.

In addition, it is recommeded to download the "Network Download" and save
to your local computer to install. This installation option downloads the
W2ksp<N>.exe file to your computer .
