Hi Noel,
Can you check whether the Administrator account has got Full control
permission on the WINNT folder?
If the permissions is set to read only, please give the admin account Full
control permissions. If you check the properties of this Particular file
for the under the security tab, it may show that Administrators have only
read access. In case you set the file access permission for administrators
to full control, you may be prompted with the same kind of error for other
files which also dosent permit the administrator account to have full
control.Son on the safer side, its better to give full control on c:\\winnt
folder itself for teh administrator account.Every one should have atleast
read access
You can also try re-booting the system and trying to install from safe mode
if the 1st solution doesnt work.
