Cant believe you people, so many of you have some problems with SP3.
I never had even one, after a 100 installations on a various comps.

You are lucky. Since installing SP3, every computer in our office (most are
Pentium 4 with XP Pro, minimum 2GB RAM) has slowed down considerably. I'm
beginning to think SP3 can only be installed and expected to not effect
performance if your running at least a Core 2 processor.

My 6+ year old P4 2.26GHz w/1MB RAM runs SP 3 flawlessly and quickly.
Same for SP 2 and SP 1. Same for IE 7. And I'm not a computer genius,
and I'm not related to anyone at Microsoft. (And I'm not making this up.)

The 40 XP machines in our office all have SP3 and there are no issues.

Walked past a vet's the other day. I couldn't believe how many of "those
people" had sick pets, what is it with them?!

People come here with problems, not generally just to chip in with, "Hey, my
SP3 install went fine!" So you could say this is a non-representative
population sample.

It seems that you have one now if you used one of the SP3 machines to post
with. The font you used is quite small.
