SP3 install, now application won't run!

I don't know if SP3 has anything to do with this, but on
one of my devices which is an AudioVox, my application
will no longer run (doesn't even try to bring it up, no
error message or anything.) If I'm in VS 2003 and and
try to run from there, it copies all the files over just
fine, but as soon as it says "Launching Application", a
message box comes up saying "The remote connection to the
device has been lost..." My older IPAQs seem to be
fine. Is there a way to revert back and make an install
with by removing SP3? I've already done the trick of
existing VS and trying again. No luck! I'm trying to
get this program Windows Certified and now this issue
pops up. Thanks for any help!
 
Thanks so much for your reply. I did this hard reset
this morning (luckily this device is only used to demo
this program, so I didn't lose anything) and it works!!!
I had performed numerious soft resets which didn't do
anything. I thought it was my program!
