Open Add & Remove programs and look towards the bottom for "Windows XP
Service Pack 2" if it is not in there put a check in the box at the top
"Show al Updates" if it still not in there then there is a good possibility
that it is not installed.
If you are sure that you installed it and it still isn't showing up then do
a system restore back to before the install.
It is never a good idea to install a service pack to try and solve any
problems that your computer is having.
When installing a service pack do a deep cleaning with ad-aware removers and
virus scanners before beginning.

How do I uninstall SP2. I go to add/remove programs but cannot find SP2
