I'm trying to install SP2 on my sister's PC. She has a dial up. The
installation time is approx. 4 hrs and 28 mins. Is it possible to get an
installation disk for SP2? If not, is there a website I can pull up that
will keep me online? I use to have one but I can't remember it and I keep
getting knocked off. Thank you!

You can order the CD from Microsoft. The Windows Update website has a
link which explains how.

Note that this is a newsgroup for the database program Microsoft
Access(TM), not for general Windows questions.

Doug, you and John and a few others are the leaders in this and several
other Access newsgroups. The polite, patient, newbie friendly, manner that
you guys project here, establishes and maintains the overall friendliness of
the group. Some times we ask dumb questions and sometimes we make mistakes.
It happens. I frequent some other, non Access groups, where nasty,
condescending replies to questions are the norm. I can't tell you how much
preferable this group "personality" is. You guys have my sincere thanks,
and I suspect the many, who come here looking for help, thank you as well.

Doug and John, thanks for the info. I have now ordered the disk. Also, thank
you for responding even though I posted to the wrong newsgroup. I've had
difficulty finding the correct ones since Microsoft changed their website. I
was used to accessing newsgroups that way. I'm going to check the groups
now using the info Doug provided. Thanks again!
