I'm trying to get the Windows XP second security update. Unfortunately I
can't get broadband here (tried for 4 weeks, there's apparently some
techincal problem), and my dial up connection takes apparently 56 hours.
Unfortunately, my server has a timeout function like most, and I can't
possibly sit in front of the computer for the next 2 odd days and move the
mouse every few minutes to avoid being disconnected. The service provider,
AOL, doesn't think it's their problem (it will be, though, once I look for
the best service provider after I've moved...). Is it possible to get that
update in small chunks or to get a CD from somewhere?
Thanks for your help.
