SP2 Success!!

I have successfully downloaded and installed WindowsXP
SP2 on a dial-up connection, all in about 12 hours (while
I continued my regular routine on the computer). This was
in several "shifts", of course, and I have checked all my
personal stuff, and ran my regular programs with
absolutely NO problems. Congratulations Microsoft!! Only
thing I had to do, was unblock part of my Internet
CallWave answering service, which the Firewall held up.

I rarely post but I must agree...I'm much more satisfied with XP in
general...and now SP2. I swear my boot time has quckened since installing
SP2...about 30 secs! (It seems that it was cut in half.) I used to wait
somewhat on my virus checker (AVG) on boot, now it's almost
instantaneous.) I'm very satisfied. I believe MS is going in the right
direction. And I run Linux too...which also is pretty cool...so I don't
believe I'm a MS apoligist.:)
