sp2 re-installation

I had to uninstalled sp2 becuase it was impossible for the computer to boot
up and keep re-starting over and over and the only way to have it working it
is by
removing sp2. First I uninstalled norton internet security and it did not
worked.
second I uninstalled sp2 and it did work by every time I download sp2 from
microsoft site it starts restarting over and over.

Please send info I will appreciated
