Does someone know how SP2 worsens an Win XP system work?
The installation of SP2 cannot improve system work, but probably can make it
work unstable. There is something wrong in installation of that enormous
size path. Any subsequent additions usually only worsen an initial idea, but
not improve, less stability, less quality.

Q. "Does someone know how SP2 worsens an Win XP system work?"

A. SP2 does not "worsen" (sic) the way Windows XP works. In fact, it enhances
the overall security, stability and performance of Windows XP.

I would suggest performing the following maintenance after
installing SP2:

SP2 system requirements: its take off almost 2GB discspace!

". Hard disk space: You need at least 1.8 gigabytes (GB) of free space on your hard disk."
Does it required to register Windows XP before path installing or not necessary?(fresh Windows XP installation)

Hello Breeze,

You can install SP2 on a clean install of XP. In fact, that is probably the best way to do it. Preferably, install SP2 before even connecting to the internet. Using that method, you can be sure you don't have any possibility of something that is already on the system interfering with the installation.

Other than XP itself, of course.
