I am still experiencing problems with my DVD player. No matter what a try
nothing seems to help, all I get is the sound & error warning F6F00018.
I have tried contacting the company that supplied the PC & Cyberlink, the
manufacturers.

Please has anybody found an answer to this obvious huge problem that so many
people seem to be experiencing if any ongoing forums are to go by?

I'm getting desperate now, PC about to go thru window!!!!

I don't have the answer to your problem, just a thought: SP2 changes some
of the operating system code. It sounds like those changes have disrupted
communication between the operating system and this program that interacts
so closely with hardware. Have you tried uninstalling, restarting and then
reinstalling the program? Checked for an update to the program?

When I play DVD using PowerDVD 3.0, I get the error message "F6F00018"

Try lowering your resolution to 800 x 600 or lower your refresh rate to 60Hz
when your resolution is set to 1024 x 768.

Hi Byte,

Thanx but I've done all that. I've also included doing a cyberlink download
patch to upgrade it. Still no joy. I've de-installed & re-installed
PowerDVD, Zilch

I've just gone beyond the "grey hair stage"m to the tearing out of the hair.
I woulddn't mind but I rarely use it, it's the grandkids who play games when
they come over. They are not happy bunnies right now!!!

Thanks anyway
