aw

I have installed SP2 on several clients. We use
netmeeting remote desktop to access some remote XP
desktops. I am unable to access the remote desktop with
the firewall turned on. If I turn off the firewall, I can
access them OK. I have tried to add the conf.exe program
as an exception but this doesn't seem to work either. Is
there something else that I need to set in the firewall so
I can use netmeeting but keep the firewall turned on?

Thanks

Hi

Most likely you need to open some ports. To determine what ports
to open, enable firewall logging. More here:

Thanks for the speedy response,
That did the trick. Ran the logging and found out I
needed to open ports 1503 and 1720. Works fine
Thanks again
