SP2 installation

the SP2 installation file keeps on trying to install to my
f drive instead of my c drive! Automatic update, for some
reason, won't install it either! please help me! how do i
get the SP2 exe to install into my c drive instead of my f
drive?

From where and how do you install SP2?

2)
Where in the installation process does it start to install to F:?

3)
What is the folder name on F: that is installs to?

4)
How much free space do you have on F: and how much free space do
you have on the C: drive?
 
i've used the exe i downloaded from the website as well as
using the cd i ordered. i also excuted the exe in c drive.
the minute the exe starts to extract files it starts to
put things into the F drive. i have about 14gb free space
on my c drive and 16gb on my f drive. should i free up my
c drive to see if it works?

Hi

You should not be concerned about this. The extraction goes just to a
temporary folder that will automatically be deleted after the SP2
installation is finished. This temporary folder is always created on
the local hard drive with the most free space.


For folders you can consider deleting and other disk cleanup tips
after a successful SP2 installation, take a look here:
