Has SP2 fixed OE, to allow a choice of a folder for saving attachments that
will "stick" ?
Or does OE still insist that "My Docs" is for everyone?

You're welcome Sunny. In Pre-XPSP2 and other versions of OE, the last character in the "Save Attachment Path" registry data was truncated. When you set the download folder to "C:\Attachments", Outlook Express will trim the last character and makes it "C:\Attachment". Next time when Outlook Express cannot locate this folder and so defaults to the My Documents folder. I no longer notice this after installing Windows XP SP2.

Great, thanks for answering.

Yes. It's fixed in XP SP2.
