I do a clean Vista installation and I put sp1 on and now my windows
tells me right on the bottom on my desktop it’ says evaluation copy .
what can this be and how I fix it.
And it show that i have 14 days to backup my system and to activate my
vista but i alredy activate my windows it shows in my system is
activate. now what can i do to fix it

Then is your Vi$ta a pirated version? Is it an OEM or
Retail version? If it's legitimate, contact Micro$oft directly.

This is a typical indication of having installed the RC candidate versionof
SP1 rather than downloading and installing the official released version
from Microsoft.

It's the pre-release version of SP1 that's expiring.

Uninstall your SP1 and install the official one from Microsoft's update
site.
