Hello everyone, like many of you I have been debating
purchasing ACT vs using BCM. Since BCM was included with
the version of Office I purchased, I went with BCM. Now,
the inability to customize forms drives me crazy, but
finally I saw the long-awaited SP1 update - I do the
install and BAAAM!!! - I can no longer access the
Business Contacts forms (which contains my customer
history, phone notes, etc...). This is very distressful
to say the least. Anyways, I did a search on the "array
out of bounds" errors (one of a few error messages that
appear) and found nothing, I did another search including
outlook and found this document that recovered
everything: "You cannot open a Business Contact record in
Outlook 2003 " http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?
scid=kb;en-us;836558
I followed the instructions (except I added a database
backup first !!). I am now working ! (I did notice it
fixes the attaching of an event to a Business Contact
that is mentioned below). Hopefully I can now customize
my forms! But I just wanted to send this note out in case
someone else has the same problem.
cheers, Jeff
