does anybody knows that will be a newer version than 6.0d.

Is there a Version works with sharepoint or database driven?

I sure hope they'll put in onto a SQL Server basis!! The file
system-based approach they have now is a mess......

Also, I sure hope they'll make it easier to use / control VSS from
external source, through automation / .NET interfaces. The current
interface is a rather quirky one.....

Yes, yes, there aro so many things that should be improved.
I hope that MS takes enough time.
BTW, I've heard a while ago that it is a new product (rumors, but logical).
