source of a MIT-8889LR-BATT

I need a MIT-8889LR-BATT replacement battery for my laptop. Can someone
tell me where I'd get one in the Uk?

Try on E-bay. Several advertisers use it.
Make and model of laptop will help.

That looks like a MITAC part number. Most likeley the battery will
have a panasonic battery number and there will be versions avaiable
badged as Novatech, Packard Bell, and a few other rebdging ops. I have
such a laptop, about 2 models below you and found that I'm looking at
£80 is at the least for a new battery
