Does anyone have a suggestion for a good source for the BCI-6 Canon ink
cartridges? The local Sam's Club does not carry them eventhough they sell
the printer.

Thanks,

Terry

Thanks,

You're not going to find them cheap anywhere really. Have you tried
refilling? I use bulk inks from atlanticinkjet.com and find them to
be virtually identical to Canon's, but at a fraction of the price.

Example... 250 ml for less than $18 ($CDN) will refill one color about
25 times. That is a huge saving if money is a critical factor.

In a side-by-side photo test against Canon I could not tell them apart.
Saw no real difference in text either. Just a suggestion. No, I don't
work for them, nor receive any favors, nor ask for any. Just
recommending a good, economical product.

P.S. - Atlantic Inkjet has separate offices in the U.S. and Canada.

I've been very satisfied with refilling the set of cartridges I purchased
from inkjetgoodies. I bought
their starter kit which includes six empty refillable cartrides, six
syringes/needles, six bottles of ink and
other parts for refilling. Easy and quick to refill. You can find them on
the web at: inkjetgoodies.com

The best I've been able to do is $1 off the normal price of $11.99; a quick
search with various shopping engines should get you there. If you want
genuine inks, just sort by price and skip over all of the listings that are
less than $8.

So far I've been able to get free shipping, too.

Third-party cartridges, and refill kits, are much cheaper; but so far I've
stuck to the genuine stuff, since my volume isn't huge.

If you don't need the Canon brand name, try Carrot Ink or
WeInk.com. I've used both on my S9000 with no problems.
