Thanks!
I now have all the files, my movie is 3 minutes long, 48.5 MB and I
still can not save.
I have 1 GB of Ram and 73.4 GB of hard drive space available.
The movie contains 6 wmv files, 5 fade transitions and two titles.
It seems small enough but I keep getting the same message about source
files, and memory ets.
I tested the source files by saving each one individually and the
saved, so I am pretty sure it's a memory proble. Any suggestions on
how I can save my movie???

Try making smaller projects....
Save each in movie format...
Re-import saved movie clips...
Drag to timeline...
Resave...
Maybe some system maintenance
would help. The following dialog is
general and not written specifically
for your system.
FWIW...video editing applications run best on a
machine that is well maintained and fully updated.
You could be reaching the limits of your system
resources. Running Error Checking, Defrag and
Disk Cleanup on a regular schedule might help.
And...disconnecting from the net and closing all
programs including your virus scanner before
opening Movie Maker may free up some resources.
Adding more RAM, increasing the size of your
Paging File and maintaining a hard drive that
has 50% or more free space can help.
And you may have compatibility issues with your
source files...the following article may be useful:

It's also possible that you have an issue with a
corrupted or outdated video driver.
Try reducing your Graphics Hardware Acceleration
as per the instructions in the following article.

Graphics Issues

(scroll down to:
Microsoft Windows 2000 and Windows XP)
If it improves the issue, you need to search the
support website of your Video adapter's mfg. for
an updated video driver.
