hi, im having problem with my sound system. i was playing music on windows
media player and then it froze my entire PC. after i restarted my speakers
started to scratch and the sound isnt coming properly. i hooked my sound
system to a friends laptop and it worked so apparently there is something
wrong with my pc and i cant figure out what it is. if any1 can help me i
would really appreciate it.

Did you plug in other speakers/headphones into yours?
It is ENTIRELY possible that your sound card is fried.
