When I enter this page, http://members.toast.net/cbminfo/pat/index.htm, there's a wav file hidden on it that just says hi guys. It's embedded in the lower page rather than the navbar so you don't hear it every time yougo somewhere.

I can't recall ever having any trouble with it on the win98 machine.
Offline I can hear it fine. minute I browse it online, it's non-exist ant.

What setting in XP kills a wav sound inside a page ?
There's another page on my site where I embedded a similar wav in a flashfile, and it works all the time.

Works fine here.

Settings in Internet Options> Advanced in the "multimedia section" can be
used to block sounds, video, animations, etc.
