I'm having trouble with my presentations playing soundlips that I have
inserted from my files. They play for a while, but when I open them again
(usually on another day), not all the sounds play (sometimes no sounds at
all). I try re-inserting them, but no luck. Any suggestions would be
greatly appreciated.

Which version of PowerPoint? What type of files are the sound clips?

Hi TinyT,

Maybe the method you adopt is not completely right. Try to use
PPT2Flash Standard to insert sound to PowerPoint. It's useful and easy
to use. You can insert the sound by several click. I often use it to
insert backgound music to my presentation or insert music to each
slide.

It's a free function for trial users. You don't need to buy the tool.
You can try it from: http://www.sameshow.com/powerpoint-to-flash.html

Hope it helps
regards.

You might try putting all your sound clips into the same folder as your presentation and then insert them. see if that makes a difference.

2002, and they are .mid files (although sometimes .wav as well)

I tried this, and still no luck. I can't even play the .mid files from the
clip organizer. All my presentations that were working fine, sounds and all,
have all lost the .mid sounds. Any other suggestions would greatly be
appreciated.
