Soundcard upgrade

I would like to upgrade from mobo sound. Can anyone recommend an inexpensive
card that comes with software?
(Cubase etc)

Depends entirely what you want it for. The Creative X-Fi range have
something for everyone although finding a card with Cubase bundled is
nigh on impossible.

I have three Aopen Cobra AW840 sound cards. They work well
and are inexpensive. No driver conflicts and at Aopen,
driver downloads are easy.
