Hi
I'm having problems with the sound, we were having trouble with uninstalling game programs and were given instrutions on what to do, i believe it was the system config. well this helped with the uninstalling butother problems accurred lost the internet connection and sound went to do a system restore and it didn't allow a restore date so in order to get anything back i did a sytem recovery that worked but still no sound went into volume control panels don't allow me to do anything any changes are blocked and in my system information it list problem device as mutlimedia audio controller ( the driver for this device not installed i tried to roll back driver but ask me for a installation cd i dont have this what has gone wrong is it my configuration that is wrong or what?? what can I do??

manual uninstalls can be highly problematic. Probably the quickest way to
get the sound back would be to re-install the operating system.
