Sound

I am currently playing a cd in my drive and everything
looks good... all is enabled, volumes are not muted,
etc... and I have volume and sound from my speakers for
say, MSN messenger, incredimail, etc, but when I play my
CD's I get no volume... Media Player shows that it is
playing but no sound... I am blonde now, so be nice and
slow !!

You checked the *CD* volume slider in the soundcard's control panel?
Often that can be accessed by double-clicking on the speaker icon at the
bottom-right of the screen.
