When I make a project the sound is like "Donald Duck".
The sound in the clipp is correct. I have two older
project without problem. I have done an update.

Hi there,

What is the source of your sound files??? Is it an audio track that you have
added to your project? or is it the audio part of a video clip.

If its an Audio/Video clip (the source) what program did you use to capture it
with. If its a program other than Movie Maker and one that gives the ability to
select Odd or Even (or A or B) frames then was it set correctly. Getting the
video frames scanned in the wrong order will obviously affect video quality but
it also makes a mess out of the (I think) sampling rate for the audio track and
often causes everything to sound like "Donald Duck"

A video clip called "The Alien Song" where a very good 3D alien sings to the
music I will survive is a clip that has been doctored so that it plays well In
Windows Media Player, but when you import it to MM2 the video is fine but the
Audio is "Donald Duck"

If an audio clip added to your project what was the sampling rate. Windows
Media Player happily takes care of obscure or non standard files...I do not
think Movie Maker is quite so obliging.

If it is the just an audio clip, what I have done in the past is to use my wave
editor to re-sample the file and save a new copy. It sometimes takes a bit of
adjusting so that you keep the quality at an acceptable level.

Hi!
I have Movie Maker from Windows XP, but is updated a
couple of days ago. Before it was ok. All clip have
correct sound, but when a make a project and play it the
sound is like "Donald Duck". Two of four earlier projects
are bad. It is the sound from video.
