I captured video to Window Movie Maker 2 and edited it, seemed OK. Then I
saved it as .wmv format. Again MyDVD Preview Mode all was OK, so I burnt it
onto a +DVD. However, on the finished DVD there is a specific sound sync
problem. It is OK for most of the project until you come to a title without
audio inserted into the "storyline". After the title, the video continues,
but the sound does not restart until 6 seconds into the video. For the rest
of the film the sound-track remains the same exact 6 seconds behind the
video.

This is only on the finished DVD. I have tried re-burning, but exactly the
same problem. Any ideas please? Thanks, Peter.

Did you play the WMV back?, is the sync off in that file?

Need to figure out which app glitched, the WMV gets re-encoded for the DVD.

My son and I are having the same problem using Nero to burn the CD. He's edited the movie and it plays fine in movie maker and in Windwos Media player. We burn the movie onto the CD and when we go to playback on the DVD the sound is way out of sync. We've gone through 6 or 8 CD's - we've changed burn rates, sampling rates etc. The common piece here seems to be he's added titles and credits to the movie.
