Sound

Sound seems to have disappeared altogether from my computer, no microsoft
sounds, no music etc. I have checked the normal mute buttons etc. I have re-
booted. Any thoughts? (sound worked fine this morning when I used it) New
computer @ Christmastime.
 
thanks for that-- I will start the search-- probably some little switch,
mute, vol .... I find there are several places to adjust volumes, some
speaker vol, some internal, keyboard, control panel, etc.
