-- Hi, I have no sound and my volume is gone from the systems tray. This
happened before and I forgot how to get it back. In sounds and divice, it say
that I have no auido device. What do I do to get it back? Reinstall or
download it again? If so, where do I go for this? I have verison-5.35

You need to reinstall the drivers for your sound card. See below for general
drivers information. Normally sound card drivers do not just disappear all
by themselves, but since you provided no information about your computer I
can't speculate on what happened. Perhaps your sound card itself is
failing.

Never get drivers from Windows Update. Get them from:

1. The device mftr.'s website; OR
2. The motherboard mftr.'s website if hardware is onboard; OR
3. The OEM's website for your specific machine if you have an OEM computer
(HP, Dell, Sony, etc.).

Read the installation instructions on the website where you get the drivers.

To find out what hardware is in your computer:

1. Read any documentation you got when you bought the computer.
2. If the computer is OEM, go to the OEM's website for your specific model
machine and look at the specs (you'll be there to get the drivers anyway)
3. Download, install and run a free system inventory program like Belarc
Advisor or System Information for Windows.

1. Volume control in the System Tray is an on/off setting at
/Control Panel / Sounds and Audio.
2. When you get that displayed (and ensure sound is unmuted)
you can check the various alternatives.
-- speakers dead? (Test them on another PC.)
-- audio device drivers damaged? (Download new and reinstal.)
-- Special audio software?
-- Audio hardware? My experience suggests Sound on Board
(built into the motherboard) fails after a year or two of use in
about one PC in 10. You can test by installing a PCI audio
card (a cheap one will do for testing) and its drivers. Remember
to set SoB OFF in the BIOS menu. (PC MBs allow only one
audio circuit and SoB has priority.)

Yes, you must install your driver sound.
Because if you reinstall your OS the data and device support will
lost.
So you must install your driver sound. Same like USB port, modem port.
