Using Windows XP home edition, ATI all-in-wonder 9500
radeon card.
Probably a silly problem, but my sound seems to have
developed an echo overnight. Any ideas as to what might
have caused this and how to get rid of it would be
greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance, Tina.

Its a simple problem with the driver for the sound card,
reinstall the driver for it. no CD? Go online.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, I am pretty dim
when it comes to computers (sorry!) I have an all in one
card, how do I reinstall the driver just for the sound
card? Many thanks, Tina

Have you gone to control panel---sounds and made sure your spesker
configuration is correct?

Hello do you happen to have a creative card
It may be that your audio got put on special effects..
Echos are made from the audio hq if u have a creative card. Go into audio HQ and check ex controle panel and make sure your audio effects are on NO effects
