Oh you do, do you? And is there anything else you'd like whilst we're at it?
Posting all in caps is considered very rude and makes your posts extremely
hard to read - as is demanding that you "want this fixed on the double". You
want it fixed - fix it yourself, instead of storming in here and throwing
your weight around!

Oh I have a pretty good idea what the problem is, but I agree.. fix it
yourself if you are such a heavyweight, you want help ask, you want to
demand it.. take your computer to the shop, demand all you like there, and
they will be more than happy to run a full diagnostics for you, I am
certian, btw, no need to reply, I am blocking this user. So demand THIS!
*obscene gesture here*

Please use UPPER and lowercase. Thanks.

Open the Create SoundBlaster AUDIO HQ utility, if it's installed and click
on Auto EAX. Be sure that no effects are enabled. Similar utils may come
with other soundcards.

I have the same problem with XP. Noticed it when I run the game Dune 2000 which was originally bought for a windows 95. So I ran the game in compatability mode for win 95 and everything fixed. For compatability mode do a right click on the game.exe file and chose compatability mode. This post might not help with the music thing but usefull anyway.
