Whenever I play a DVD, I get an error message "Playback
failed due to an error with the Audio Subsystem." My
computer is running W2K with 2-160GB Hard Drives attached
to the primary IDE slot on an ATA Controller card, and a
CD-RW (master) and DVD-ROM (slave) in the primary IDE slot
on the mobo. The sound cable runs from the mobo to the CD-
RW. I'm using the built-in sound card on the Asus A7N8X
mobo. What could be causing this error?
