I have a problem with my sound skipping when I play MP3s
or CDs on my computer. I know the MP3s themselves are
good, I have burned them onto CDs to make sure. The
speakers are fine as well, I have tested them. The
computer acts like there is not enough RAM to play the
MP3s when I try to surf the net or chat. This seems odd
to me as I have 512 MB of RAM. I also have an ASUS A7S333
Motherboard with a built in sound card. I did not have
this problem when I had Windows 2000 on this computer. I
also didn't have the problem when I upgraded to XP. The
problem started when I upgraded my harddrive. The
harddrive itself is fine though. It plays games and
everything else fine. I just have a problem with the
audio output. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this
problem? I have tried several different MP3 players as
well. Thank you.

Hi,

I would suggest you to reinstall the sound drivers.
You may download the latest sound drivers from asus.com
