Can anyone tell me how to lengthen the recordings I can
make with the sound recorder that came with my Compaq
Presario running Windows XP? It stops at 60 seconds, and
sometimes I need more time than that. Is there a way to
do this? Thanks.

This is a Royal Pain isn't it. There is a free sound
recorder with unlimited time that comes with the mail
program Eudora or you can get it as a stand alone download
as well. It is free. Qualcomm. PureVoice. Do an internet
search for it. I found it on this site.

Simply hit the record button again, after the 60 seconds pass, and it will begin another session of 60 seconds added to the first, and so on if you follow. If you're trying to record without pause, this can choppy, but it works nevertheless.
